As a church, we work together to honor and glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. At Plains there are many different opportunities to get involved and serve God. We encourage each member to be a part of what God is doing here. These are just a few of the ministry opportunities. There are many areas adults, teens, and children can be a part of to learn and serve!
Services and Ministries
Sunday Morning Service
Sunday Mornings at 9:30am
7th grade through adults
Each week we gather for preaching from the word of God. Everyone 7th grade and up meets together in the auditorium for the morning service.
During the service, the kids 6th grade and under meet downstairs in the fellowship hall for Junior Church.
There is also a nursery available for babies 6 months and up.
Adult Ministries
Sunday School Classes
Sunday Mornings at 10:45am
College age and above
We have Sunday School classes for all ages that meet each Sunday morning.
The adult class is currently studying "Things to Come" and indepth study through the book of Revelation.
Ladies Bible Studies
The ladies meet several times a year on Tuesdays for a month at a time to study God's Word together. Check the church calendar for scheduled meetings.
These Bible studies are also online on Zoom for those who cannot attend in person.
The ladies also have special outings through out the year.
Mens' Prayer Breakfast
The men meet throughout the year for prayer, breakfast and Bible Study. Check the church calendar for scheduled meetings.
The men also meet throughout the year for activities.
Music Ministries
There are a wide range of areas to use your musical talents to serve God. We have special music each Sunday that can be instrumental or singing.

We have Sunday School classes for all ages that meet each Sunday morning.

Ambassadors for Christ - Teen Group
Wednesday Evenings at 7:00pm
Teens 7th - 12th grades
Teenagers meet together to gain an understanding of God's Word and practical applications for daily life through Bible study, prayer, service and fun activities.
During the summer months, the teens go out on outreach each Wednesday evening.
Our teens like to meet up after Sunday services to hang out, play games and have a good time. They also have regular teen activities throughout the year, usually on Friday evenings.
Children's Ministries
Kids ROCK
Sunday Mornings at 9:30am
Children 3yrs - 6th grade
Each Sunday morning, children 3 years - 6th grade meet together for Junior Church. There is a time of song, Bible lesson, and activities to help teach the kids the truth of God's word and how to apply it to their lives.

Melody Messengers - Children's Choir
Wednesdays at 6:30pm
Children 3yrs - 6th grade
While the adults are meeting for prayer time the kids meet for prayer time and choir. They begin with a short prayer time where the kids are invited to share prayer requests and then sing children's songs that praise God.
WiseGuys'
Wednesdays at 7:00pm
Children 3yrs - 6th grade
WiseGuys' is an exciting scripture memory program. Children are taught the value of gaining God's wisdom by learning and applying different character building qualities found in Proverbs. Along with the scripture memorization, the children learn about each character quality through stories, songs, and activities. At the end of each six week term, there will be rewards for all their hard work and accomplishments. We are so excited about this program and teaching your children.
