Christmas Scripture Guide
Preparing Our Hearts for Christmas
The Christmas season fills our calendars quickly, but our hearts need something more than full schedules and festive noise. We need time to slow down, open God’s Word, and remember why Jesus came.
Our Christmas Scripture Guide is a simple, day-by-day reading plan for December 1–31 that walks through God’s plan of redemption and the joy of salvation in Christ. From “God Promises a Savior” through “The Savior Is Born,” “The Purpose of the Savior,” and “The Joy of Salvation,” each day’s passage points us back to Jesus and the reason we celebrate.
You can keep this guide in your Bible, on the fridge, or by the couch where your family gathers. Read the passage in your personal devotions, around the table in the evening, or with your children before bedtime. Use it to spark conversation, to pray together, and to keep Christ at the center of the month.
Our prayer is that these Scriptures will help you:
• Remember God’s promises and how He fulfilled them in the birth of His Son.
• See more clearly why Jesus came—to save sinners and bring us into a right relationship with God.
• Rejoice in the peace, hope, and joy that belong to those who know Christ.
Let’s make room for His Word this Christmas.
Let’s prepare our hearts for the One who came to save.
